Slice the raw flank steak ~1/4-inch thick, against the grain at a steep angle.Â
Combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl, and mix well.Â
Add the sliced raw steak and mix well until evenly coated.Â
Marinate for at least 4 hours, up to overnight.Â
Heat a griddle or a skillet over high heat and add the meat slices.Â
Lower the heat to medium-high (to avoid burning the marinade) and cook marinated steak for 2 â 4 minutes on each side, until the meat is cooked through and slightly caramelized.Â
